EY Announces Germany finalists for the ‘Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020 award’
The finalists’ list for the “EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020” has been released and we are proud to announce that Johannes Laub and Jamal El Mallouki, founders of Crowdesk GmbH, a company in Frankfurt are part of it! The company is among 19 companies from all over Germany that have been shortlisted for the award.

The awards are given by EY in two main categories; “Established Companies” and “Young Companies”. An independent, high-ranking jury selects the winners from the finalists and determines who will represent Germany at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2021 in Monaco. The winners are selected based on the assessment criteria of sustainability of the business model, innovation, transformation, leadership, and social responsibility. In addition to honoring successful entrepreneurs, EY also promotes young entrepreneurs with the “EY NextGen Academy” program.
The “Entrepreneur Of The Year” program was launched in 1986 by EY in the USA. Since then, the competition has established itself in 60 countries and is one of the world’s most prestigious business awards. The competition is being held in Germany for the 24th time this year and is being supported by well-known companies and media houses. Among them are LGT, the strategic management consultancy for communication Kekst CNC, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and the Manager Magazin.
The winners will be announced for the first time in a virtual award ceremony that will start on October 22, 2020, at 7 p.m. The award ceremony will be moderated by news anchor Judith Rakers. It is promising that EY continues to recognize exceptional entrepreneurial achievements even in challenging times such as this.
