FLC Furniture GmbH & Co. KG takes over the Lyght Living brand.
This acquisition will allow them to strengthen their market position, target new customer groups and expand their rental furniture offering by high-end brands.

With the incorporation of the Lyght Living brand, Furniture Leasing is further extending its position on the market. In addition to the brand, FLC will take
over the existing customer base as well as the furniture and accessories that are currently on lease. Lyght Living is a well-known supplier of rental furniture on the market: just over a year ago Global Founders Capital was one of the first investors to join Lyght Living.
In the future, Furniture Leasing’s product range will also include high-end brands such as Vitra.

“With this merge we are strengthening our brand and at the same time expanding our rentalfurniture business with high-end brands,” says Daniel Ishikawa, Managing Director of FLCFurniture GmbH & Co. KG.

“We are also gaining access to the target group of the Millennials, aged 26 to 40 — which is Lyght Living’s customer base — who live in large cities, want to be
particularly flexible and are open to new rental models.”

“We are very pleased to hand over our customer base to an established and trusted operator,” says Nadine Deuring, Managing Director of Lyght Living. In addition to providing office rental furniture and concepts, Furniture Leasing also aims to be the first port of call for people who want to try out new living trends and ideas. You can rent a piece of furniture individually for a certain period of time and then exchange it for the next trend without major financial cutbacks.

The rental furniture business has become even more interesting thanks to the Corona Virus, as it is important in these times to be able to react flexibly, swiftly and easily to changes, for example in office space. Buying furniture is linked to high purchase costs, while rental furniture in particular can reduce the ecological footprint of companies. At the end of the rental period, the furniture is collected, refurbished and re-rented — this is environmentally friendly and saves resources.

FLC is a company registered in Offenbach am Main and CEO is Daniel Ishikawa / https://www.linkedin.com/in/danielishikawa/
