Goethe Startup School on the Westend campus
The Goethe Startup School has been taking place on the Westend campus of the Goethe University Frankfurt for the first time since last week. The 10-day program includes keynotes (role models & expert insights) and workshops as well as location hopping in the Frankfurt start-up scene.
Knowledge about the topics of developing ideas, exploiting research results, financing and promoting start-up ideas and innovation methods is conveyed. 20 selected people interested in founding a company from various specialist areas have the opportunity to get the most elementary knowledge about founding their own company in a practical manner from renowned experts.
Speakers such as Thomas Funke (TechQuartier), Daniel von Wedel (Angel Investor), Andres Felipe Macias (Goethe-Unibator), Dennis Schmoltzi (CEO & Founder of Emma — The Sleep Company) and our own Pedro Ferreira (Co-Founder of Xperience Plus and Frankfurt Valley Initiator)shared their experience and expertise with the participants.
This week, the participants can still look forward to further lectures and workshops on exciting topics such as marketing for startups, creating a pitch deck and much more.
The initiator of the Goethe Startup School is Andres Felipe Macias from the university subsidiary Innovectis.
