Mainstage Incubator, a company that focuses on supporting startups to scale into new markets and building bilateral bridges between ecosystems, with ties and offices in Frankfurt and Bangalore, just finished the due diligence to it´s very first strategic investment into one of their portfolio companies, in the case Yuva Pay.

As previously reported YUVA PAY, a mobile payment platform for the last mile rural population who are Unconnected and Unbanked, is a pioneer in the mobile payments field and designed a new payment platform which can be used to make payments with or without an internet connection, supporting both smart and feature phones, and this strategic investment is the result of a long lasting partnership that started in 2018.

The investment goal is to support the company future growth, and aligns with the vision of other investors that also joined the seed round.

According to the founders of Mainstage, Swen Wegner and Debasis Chakraborty: “ The entire team couldn´t be more happy to support such a flagship project that has potential of scaling not 10x but 100x.”

This milestone for the company also opens a new chapter, since the project is now also an officially angel investor, not only a venture building and incubator-accelerator.

In that regard, the founding team also highlights that:”This strategical investment was the first of other investments to come, and in the future, more news will be shared regarding Funding activities and Synergies in this field.”

For everyone interested, you can meet Yuvapay´s founders at the flagship event Mainstage Virtual Summit 2021, where all Mainstage´s startups will be having virtual booths.

During the event, there will be a dedicated session on Fundraising, where both parties will also share some additional points and experiences on this journey.
