Rentenbank’s and TQ´s start-up prize goes to “Spoontainable”

Last Wednesday night Rentenbank awarded 5,000€ to a new startup from Heidelberg that is imagining a world where plastic spoons are replaced by delicious, edible cookie spoons.

Meet Spoontainable, the big winner of Growth Alliance — AgTech & FoodTech Demo Day.

We have written about them some weeks ago:

Runner-ups included:
Second Place — corvitac GmbH
Inventors of the Corvitac #Pig-Counter.

Third Place — Circular Carbon
They use Biomass Waste to generate renewable energy and valuable biochar products.

Twelve -based startups in total were selected from about 40 applicants to compete in Demo Day and be part of the workshops and networking events built into the accelerator program.

More than 100 people attended virtually and 50 attended live at TQ. This is the third year TQ has partnered with Rentenbank for this program and our first hybrid version that offered programming in-person and virtually.
