If you’ve read our whitepaper or explainer you’ll know what we’re working on at Frankl. But in our attempt to keep things short and sweet, we haven’t shared some of the many long-term benefits that come from Phase 1 of the project — connecting cognitive assessment tools and data on the blockchain. Here are 8 benefits that make up a big part of why we’re here:

1. Assessments rapidly evolve

App developers respond quickly to research and clinical data and feedback; updating apps and making new assessments available.

2. Cognitive outcomes improve

Clinicians and educators are able to map pathways to better cognitive outcomes, informed by the most up-to-date evidence.

3. Kids’ needs are catered for

With an ever-expanding range of customisable test apps available, a wider spectrum of individual testing needs are met.

4. Research capabilities boom

A growing pool of accessible participants and standardised data reduces the time and resources required to carry out research and analysis.

5. Funding goes further

With less time-intensive, resource-intensive mechanisms for data collection, research grants and medical funding will support larger projects.

6. Access opens up

As the cost of testing goes down, more people worldwide are able to access cognitive assessment, including those in poor and remote communities.

7. Data persists long-term

The reliability and accessibility of all data persists over the long term, independent of change within institutions.

8. Readers connect with data

Scientific journals, editors, peer reviewers will be able to link directly to raw data and test design.

Are there more?

As we talk to people about Frankl, we’re constantly surprised by the number of new use cases and applications they suggest, that we hadn’t even considered. If you can see another benefit or use case for Frankl, please let us know.
