It’s been a busy start to the year at Frankl with our dementia assessment dapp in progress and an autism assessment project under development.

While Pete has been designing a web model for the dementia dapp, our blockchain developer Lucas Cullen has been hard at work creating an open source encryption microservice that will feed into it. The microservice contains a combination of functions that encrypt and decrypt data using Ethereum blockchain public and private keys. This facilitates secure data sharing among users via their Frankl wallet.

We had a brief chat with Lucas as he was just getting started. Here he explains a bit about what he’s doing and why.

At Frankl, our mission is to make open science easy and rewarding for scientists. If you’d like to know more, you can read our whitepaper, check out our website, follow us on Facebook and Twitter, or join our Telegram channel.
