Sung to the tune of “The Twelve Days of Christmas”

On the first day of December,
my kids’ school asked of me
to decorate the classroom par-ty.

On the second day of December,
my kids’ school asked of me
to ring up book fair sales
and decorate the classroom par-ty.

On the third day of December,
my kids’ school asked of me
to cook for the staff breakfast,
ring up book fair sales,
and decorate the classroom par-ty.

On the fourth day of December,
my kids’ school asked of me
to shop for teachers’ presents,
cook for the staff breakfast,
ring up book fair sales,
and decorate the classroom par-ty.

On the fifth day of December,
my kids’ school asked of me
to attend five…holiday…concerts,
shop for teachers’ gifts,
cook for the staff breakfast,
ring up book fair sales…
