In a major blow to the medical reputation of Doc McStuffins earlier today, the diminutive doc euthanized Clifford the Big Red Dog during a toddler’s independent play.

The child’s mother first noticed her three-year-old son grabbing a Kleenex, then having his Doc McStuffins’ toy place it over Clifford’s snout. When she asked him what happened, the child held up Doc McStuffins and said, “Whoopsies! Night, night, Clifford!”

At first, the mother figured this was just an isolated incident brought on by an accidental viewing of the film Marley and Me. Later in the day, however, she found members of The Paw Patrol “sleeping” in the lower rack of the dishwasher.

“Listen, honey, we can’t put toys in here, ok?” the mother said while rescuing the pups.

The boy then reached into the top pocket of his OshKosh overalls and pulled out the toy pediatrician. “Bad stuffins! No put ruff-ruffs there!”

“She didn’t know, honey. It’s okay, Doc.” His mother found herself in the awkward position of defending the toy.

In an attempt to dissuade further incidents from happening, his mom grabbed Doc McStuffins and all remaining dog stuffies to donate to the local Goodwill.
