What’s Missing in the 2017 Tax Reform Act

Now that the new tax plan is announced (and it is not law yet, people), I am happy to go over all the reasons it is good or bad but what I am truly disappointed with is that this bill does not make things simpler for the majority of people.

Why not a much more simplified system?

This bill will still make you need to get an accountant or someone/company to help you.

We get to do tax reform once every 20–30 years. Why is there not a proposal to simplify by people smarter than me that understand the process?

I don’t know but that is what we should be looking at!

And don’t get me started on the estate tax…..

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
