Anita Baker’s Retiring Leaving Me Happy With A Broken ❤

Grateful to God I arrived in this world early enough to experience the beautiful gift of Anita Baker. Though I am happy with a broken heart, I am also equipped to help future generations experience her art. In retrospect, I understand why she never pushed her albums to streaming companies. This music, her music, has to exist outside of the internet. It has to be held, owned, retained in the heart, and passed along. It’s love in the future. It’s beautiful. It’s pure artistry. Thank you, Ms. Baker.
