Square G-1 Reimagined
And ready for adventure!
I am in the middle of a granny square project, but I keep changing my mind about what I want the final piece to be. One thing I was able to settle on was that I needed to include this square:
The problem
As it was configured, the square was much too large for the crochet project it is destined to be a part of.
What’s a crocheter to do?
I could have cried, but there wasn’t time. I needed to think of something — quickly.
But there wasn’t really time to think, so I got out my supplies:
- a 5.5 mm hook
- an assortment of worsted weight acrylic yarn
- a crochet tension regulator
and started to crochet, and while I occasionally had to frog a round when I made a mistake or something didn’t work out as I had envisioned it, eventually, I got it “just right.”
