The field of information technology (IT) and cloud technology is constantly evolving, presenting new challenges and opportunities. As an IT student or fresh graduate, it’s essential to stay ahead by acquiring relevant skills and certifications. One way to enhance your knowledge and boost your career prospects is by obtaining certifications offered by industry giants like AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle.
Before diving into further, I would like to clarify that professional certification (mostly are paid) is different to that of certificate of completion (mostly are free) , certifications are generally more rigorous and require more extensive training and assessment than certificates.
In this article, I will provide tips on how to obtain these certification exams for free.
****Note if the links do not work , try type out the program’s name and search this online. It is possible that the links would be expired once the program or competition finishes. However they may come back again once the program restarts. Normally, these programs are hosted once every year.
Oracle
Oracle offers a selected range of free certifications every year, allowing you to attain valuable skills across various domains such as OCI, AI, Machine Learning, data management, and applications business processes. By acquiring these certifications, you can showcase your expertise and enhance your employability. Some of hottest FREE certification exams are OCI Architect Professional and Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud Professional.

On 15th September 2023 Oracle University announced a new OCI Artificial Intelligence (AI) Foundations certification and course that is available to everyone at no cost. Take advantage of this AI festive season and pass the the exam while it is free !

While Microsoft may have discontinued the practice of offering free Azure certification exam vouchers to anyone who have attended their virtual training workshops, there are still opportunities to obtain FREE certifications.

What I found useful was the FREE 2hr practice test which you can do at maximum 5 times. After successful completion of the practice test ,you will get 50% off on the selected Azure certification exam.

AWS
