We read very often ‘Being Human’ & it means we are above all creatures.It also means it demands a particular behaviour from us & from our fellow beings.It also means to me a rational behaviour to all irrespective of Caste, Color, Creed & Religion.Human Rights is defined as “The rights you have simply because you are human.”With regard to this behaviour we have certain rights & we can claim it when we see them violating.World Human Rights Organisation UNHCR has formulated the rules in its charter so that no Human on earth will be deprived of Justice in presence of it.

I want to talk about the war in Gaza & the crushing of Human Rights in front of the Whole World.Also for people of Gaza are fighting for Human Rights for so many years along with their land & religion.The torture, the injustice, the racial discrimination, the right to pray was systematically exploited during the past 66 years.A whole population is under siege & occupation.And the thing is they couldn’t raise their voice against this injustice for they were never allowed to do so.Only recently the ‘non-observer state’ status gave Palestine right to file a complain in international organisations.That was also hindered by starting the false talk & negotiations by US.When this talk yield no result & reached to dead end the Palestinians decided to form a unity government which will give them some reprieve.And this government was formed on 2nd June 2014 by the PLO & Hamas together.It also got the momentary support from the US & EU.But this is what was not tolerated by Israel.It couldn’t accept the fact that Hamas can be a part of the government.Whereas I read Hamas had come to power with 90 % of votes.But was never allowed to rule freely.Israel besieged Gaza & the series of violations of Human Rights started.It was very easy for Israel to rule over Gaza, West Bank & Jerusalem with a de facto government in place.And for all this it got the support from one country which was vocal for Human Rights & i.e United States.

Coming back to the war which was initiated by Israel to not allow unity government to function & term Hamas as terrorist organisation in what sense I don’t know? But to achieve this agenda it crossed all the limits of humanity which gave a shock to the world.That includes more than 800 as of now civilian deaths, nearly 5000 or so injured, approximately 100 houses destroyed many with civilians in it, hospitals were bombarded along with patients & medics, more than 10 mosques were attacked & yesterday a school was shelled killing children :’( the death toll mostly includes children, women & elderly people.And above all this not to miss the horrific act of burning a child alive & killing the children playing on the beach.Just count how many rights are demolished for fulfilling one agenda!

And after all this I quote it called UNHCR a “joke” when a resolution was finally passed against it counting ‘War Crimes’.This resolution was supported by 29 countries of the world & one country which took PRIDE in going against it is none other than United States.How it sounds? Not good at all.Forget those who remained absent for they proved they never knew ‘Human Rights’ but America? Who has learned the chapters of it by birth! Sad.
Hope Israel gets stringent punishment for its errant behaviour & crimes against humanity.Peace to Palestine!
