Soon, We Will All Be Living In A World Where We Have To Pretend

If we don’t, They will be out to get us

As soon as we leave our houses, we’re at the mercy of the outside world. Our houses are our paradise: a wall that blocks the chaotic happenings from harming us (other than the TV and internet of course). Although it isn’t until we leave our paradise, we soon feel obligated to act a certain way.

A certain way that society expects of us. Therefore, marks the beginning of our pretend state of mind.

It marks the beginning of us holding in our true feelings about what we actually feel about the world and the parasites that live in it. We have bosses we don’t like. We have family we wished who weren’t. We have friends who we are scared to lose — so, we don’t tell them: “I know you’ve been bitching about me behind my back, so fuck your friendship.”

We have presidents and prime ministers who act like they know what they’re doing, but in reality, have no idea how to get to their “top-dog” office and write their bullshit.

They have writers to do that for them. Why can’t they do it themselves? I know they may be busy, but if they did do it themselves, they may feel more relatable. Conceivably, they may need to modify.
