It’s time to let go …

It’s the only way you can be held.

When you get to the end of your rope, you can tie a knot and hold on.

Or, you can let go.

This week is a time for letting go of the rope, rather than continuing to hold on. If you have to hold on so tightly, it’s just not the right rope for you anymore. We outgrow all kinds of things in this life when we do the work the journey presents to us. Like friends, families, places, romantic relationships, bad habits, and even ropes — those things we rely upon to get us through.

Letting go is hard — especially if you’re someone who likes to be in control all the time. But the more you let go, the more space you create to receive what you want and need to feel supported and whole. You have to trust that if you let go of the rope, a net will appear — something different, something longer, stronger, and deeper that has the capacity to hold the weight and depth of who you are so that you can express yourself fully.

The world needs your weight and depth. The world needs your full expression — ALL of who you are! But even more importantly, YOU need all of who you are! YOU need and DESERVE to feel whole! You can’t contract or hide yourself anymore. Stop trying to contort and sever yourself to fit other people’s needs, opinions, or expectations.

You need to be able to express yourself freely and fully. Let go of that old rope that can’t hold the weight of who you are so that you can allow a new net to support you. 🙏🏼
