Pursuing What We Already Have

It is so interesting in our modern society to see and to try and understand the dichotomy of our ‘two worlds’; what is considered ‘first world’, and places that our not. I think the one of the quintessential American ‘Exceptionalist’ ideals is that we always want more; and while this can lead to such great innovation, change and scale, consider all of the other byproducts; greed, hoarding and in some cases an unwillingness to come together. I also think that one of the quintessential human ideals is to seek out happiness. I believe that every human being can find that now in the present moment. Instead of searching externally, realize the happiness of right now; the only thing we truly have.
