Momentum is starting to build up to a Freeos launch shortly.
Although we plan to announce a formal date and Roadmap soon, we’d like to announce—with some well-deserved confidence—that the first phase of the Freeos project, the AirClaim, is tracking well for a launch this quarter.
Our team is growing (currently 14 active members) and working hard to deliver a new type of democratic currency that is designed to be self-governed by the community towards stability and a meaningful value.
We have made the decision to launch Freeos on the Proton blockchain. This blockchain offers much, but most importantly some of the features included overcomes some of the most difficult challenges surrounding blockchain-based democracy and providing an sustainable, secure, supplemental income without duplicate accounts or exploits.
Our team has mostly transitioned to testing the smart contracts, with external code reviews and audits booked to ensure our systems are as robust as possible.
We will soon release a formal date of when the AirClaim is scheduled to launch, as well as a roadmap outlining the next stages as we build out more of the democratic, and price stability mechanisms that make Freeos unique.
After all, a crypto that is both an ongoing income AND is stable might just be the Holy Grail that leads to mass market adoption.
We reckon that we can achieve this, through strong systems design, a bit of game theory, and smart token incentive design. All combined on a world class blockchain platform that makes this endeavour a bit less daunting.
