With the help of Sentnl—and third party code reviewers—we have passed our first smart contract code audit—an important milestone in the development of Freeos.
FreeDAO understands the gravity and responsibility required when creating the beginnings of a new model for a democratic financial system—what is known as Freeos.
To ensure that we do our best in ensuring the foundation of Freeos is set correctly, we sought the services of experienced code reviewers as well as a professional smart contract auditing team, Sentnl.
After our external code reviews, internal, and public testing of our smart contracts, and with the detailed, professional scrutiny of Sentnl’s auditors, we can now say confidently, that the first Phase of the Freeos Economic System is technically passed and ready!
The next steps are some tidy-up work with the front-end interface, and a final public Beta to give the system a trial run while we work through some final legal and compliance work.
And the audit comes with an awarded shiny certificate that we’ll be posting up on our Github and linking in the dApp prior to launch.
We are making this milestone into a public announcement because we want to ensure our growing, enthusiastic community of supporters that we are creating this Freeos Economic System with reverence, respect and honouring our commitment to create a type of economic system that serves all participants to the best of our ability.
And this starts with spending extra time and effort checking, double-checking that the foundational code is reasonably secure and well-constructed.
Systems of freedom don’t always come easily—but they can be well worth the effort.
We intend this milestone to be one of many other positive milestones yet to come.
