What is a Params (parameters) party?
This is the organic, fun-loving, playful method of playing with DeFi parameters that run the TEC’s upcoming economic system.
Play with fancy, Defi parameters in a safe, fun, party-like environment, hosted in the Freeos Discord channel (finally, our Discord channel gets some love!).
Parameters like:
- Token Freezing
- Token Thawing
- Augmented Bonding Curves
- Commons, Entry and Exit Tributes (very Hunger Games vibe)
- Voting Parameters like: Support, Quorum, Duration, Extensions and Delays
- And play around with extra fancy Conviction Voting!
No idea where to start? Don’t worry, the Freeos team is going in fairly blind too. We’ll be following TEC’s lead for this first run-through.

Experience in Real Economic Design
The Tokens Engineering Commons is actively creating their own economy via consensus—infused with a spirit of fun.
The Params Party is the way they work to achieve consensus in a party-like atmosphere to fine-tune their economic parameters towards an economy that works towards their best bet at working towards a common purpose.
This is something that aligns well with Freeos’ principles, and so the TEC has kindly offered to host a party in our Discord channel.
