Broken World
And how to fix it.

The monologue spoken by Prince Hamlet, shows how angst is a timeless human condition and what we are experiencing is quite normal. Or is it? The frequency and amplitude of our enslaved lives is ever increasing, ever present , never ending. Any way Hamlet was a Prince we are not, we have bigger problems , we can’t have the luxury of a little internecine bloodletting to release the pressure. There is something in the air other than coronaviruses and we are all being made to feel it. The very moment we step outside, it hits you. The world has changed.
The klaxon call is starting to become louder , scientists warn we have become planet killers . The industrial scale of our drug laced sewage is pissing on the world. The fundamentalist Christian right applauding for the impending rapture, doing everything to bring it on. Some of the rich anonymous R C Christian types even telling us what is good for us on their misguided stones.
The Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists etc. are the same, still existing in a medieval mindset harking back to their golden ages. Although not written anywhere there is a belief in the supine masses that we are in the last age of man (possibly the last century). Ask any one on the streets of Palestine,Yemen or Saudi Arabia for example. The signs in Islamic, Christian and Jewish eschatology are coming together nicely: “Immorality appears among people to such an extent that they commit it openly, except that they will be afflicted by plagues and diseases unknown to their forefathers; Liars will be believed, honest people disbelieved, and faithful people called traitors; People will treat a man with respect because they fear the evil he could do; The leader of a people will be the worst of them; Nomads will compete in the construction of very tall buildings; Humans will communicate with objects. ” etc. There is a big list of supposed signs, this essay is not going to appeal to subjective fears, prejudices and vanities of the reader and try to lead you down a line that is merely subject to personal interpretation.
Regardless of which religion you care to choose or have thrust upon you as a circumstance of fate by birth or war, most preach about money and the well known platitudes: The love of money is the root of all evil ; The richest of the rich is one who is not a prisoner to greed; You can’t get to heaven on the power of gold, because nothing up there is bought or sold…. and so on.
Clearly we all have an issue with money, capital and economics and how to run a just and sustainable world.
What I would like to do is to draw attention to the inconsistencies of the narrative that we are being continually fed , without real choice, without substantive unbiased information.
There was a day when debt and government debt in particular being anathema was dogma, now we have the converse being prescribed . It is now suddenly the case that government debt doesn’t matter. Where have we heard this before? Yes “ two legs good, four legs bad” is now changed to “two legs bad, four legs good”. A lie is still a lie even if everyone believes it.
If every country in the world owes money, who exactly do they owe the money to? If I owe money , I generally know who to. National debts are hidden in a labyrinthine 3D, never ending game of Go, waiting to be written off whenever the psychology or war requires.
Cut down on dairy, sunlight , diet soda peddlers would scream. Now it is acknowledged that that dairy, sunlight , sugar drinks are probably the healthier option. (Sugar drinks as with everything else in moderation). Smoking was for cool attractive people now they can vape but not so cool and attractive any more, are they? And so on. No wonder we are mind screwed.
No shortage of talking heads, experts with PhD’s being wheeled out to support the political discourse of dumb politicians and even dumber target voters. How can these people who know so much about so little, be given free rein to tell us what is wrong? These so Wunderminds would not know the price of eggs, neither would our leaders. The experts are peddling an agenda that has been bought and paid for leading to the fruition of their research which has been steered and guided by vested interests of the global capital creation scheme. Big business monetizes scientific discovery whilst the non money making stuff is the bread and butter of life tenure academics on a road to nowhere.
Some of these are fancy Economists who think they run the world by bending the ear of or by gaining the favour of the elite. They are nothing but pawns in a game of stealth accumulation by Gamers of the mathematical models of returns on capital. The math is now so far removed from reality in the Economic world that it attempts to bamboozle you. Subjective soft science is being oversold in attempts to make it credible, strange formulae rule the roost. Welcome to Econcono World.
Enough of stating the obvious, let us cut to the chase, how on earth do we fix this messed up fairy tale of “ The Emperor’s new clothes?”
I have a large number of suggestions for which I don’t wish to claim credit and I will list a few of them. The next stage of human evolution in terms of thought can come only if we start to do the following;
Abolition of all debt
Free Electricity for all
Free Education for all
Free Healthcare for all
Government to pay for all of the above by creating its own fiat as lubricant for the economy.
Abolition of all taxes, interest, dividends, derivatives and savings and other means of fiat currency directly making fiat (eg currency trading).
The capital and economic system is on life support and needs major surgery followed by a new diet. Humans have proved themselves to be good fighters for a cause, let us all fight for the ultimate cause , our planet. The economic models have led us to a climate where the money escalator will be oiled by health scares and pandemics. The Economic model badly needs disrupting and not just the mere tightening of a screw here and oiling a gear there.
Up to now, the money gets sucked up with no trickle down. Blackmail works wonders to get Governments to helicopter in money, pandemics have just been added to the armoury in addition to currency wars, trade tariffs, slowdown in consumption etc.
Money has now stopped progress, why do we not have enough to save the world but we can always find some to bomb the shit out of some poor ignorant Afghan? Or even enough to lock people down.
Where has all the money come from to finance Covid lock down?
Break down the wall of money, the barrier of progress. It is time to abolish and demonetize. Our time is better spent without this hindrance. There will come a time when money does not exist, wealth does not rule. Treat money like an alien invader, use it as bathroom tissue.
The disruption can occur with peaceful generous measures such as some of those listed above. Ignore the naysayer experts. Like Chicken Licken, the sky is not going to fall down. If the worst doomsday scenarios play out as they warn, why try to delay them. Kicking the can down the road is not an option. We need to reprogramme our mindset that enables gain for those who only have their selfish interests at heart.
Are we writing a story called history? It only seems to have come to a halt because we do not know where to go now. Repetition over 12,000 years has only enabled selective selection of controllers by might of weaponry or capital. Is this the sum total of our product? We are going to all go as cheap as chips firefighting the world recession thrust upon us. We are just a heartbeat away from life or death.
Religion has failed, Capitalism,Marxism, Communism, Plutocracy, Meritocracy, Dictatorship, Democracy and so on have failed. Is this the best we can do?
