‘Saint George and the Dragon’ (1470), Paolo Uccello, National Gallery, London

Al-Khidr, The Green One is an immortal being who understands causality, who takes action in the present to prevent dire consequences in the future. If your life is of consequence to humanity AK will come and save you. If your life leads to destruction, AK will speed your demise. It’s a shame AK was a bit too slow with Hitler and Stalin.

Al-Khidr does not age, he can step to and from different time periods in an instant. The Green One exists in all times simultaneously. Al-Khidr is the interface between existence and non-existence. If you ever cross-over, you will meet him.

AK is referred to as The Jew, Prophet Elijah (Ilias), Prophet Enoch (Idris), Saint George and The Green Knight of Arthurian legend. He appears as Merlin, Beowulf, Robin Hood, Siegfried, Gandalf, Yoda and Obi-Wan-Kenobi.

O Moses!

Moses tells his people, “No one knows more about God than me.” God is displeased and informs Moses, that God knows more than Moses and that there is another, Al-Khidr, who knows more than Moses. Moses is told to seek Al-Khidr who will be found between two seas; take a live fish where it goes free there you will meet Al-Khidr.

Moses is wandering the desert when he encounters Al-Khidr. Moses is told, “Do not question or interfere with my actions.”
