Douche and Turd

FTN Daily #28 — A special about a Giant Douche, a Turd Sandwich, and the clusterfuck that is the US election

From the Editors

We try not to focus too much on the United States, because we make Freedom Today for Millennial Libertarians around the world.

But we cannot ignore the US presidential election this coming Tuesday. Even non American media have published endorsements. At Freedom Today we refuse to pick sides, as it’s already Douche and Turd.

For this FTN Daily (the last politics edition before Tuesday) we have collected arguments against Trump, arguments against Clinton, and arguments against both.

America has the choice to elect a corrupt, entitled crook that shits on our generation or a corrupt, entitled crook that shits on our generation.

With the worst major candidates in living history, we already know that the next US president will be basically unfit for leading that great country.

“The question is not whether Trump or Clinton wins. The question is whether the political system can cope with the winner’s deficits.”

If we were American voters we’d reject that choice altogether and put our trust in checks and balances. Instead of trusting a single person, we know the institutions of a free society keep a corrupt, entitled crook in check. No matter which particular crook ends up in power.

“The question”, as German blogger Don Alphonso put it, “is not whether Trump or Clinton wins. The question is whether the political system can cope with the winner’s deficits.”

Let’s remember that there are other important issues in the world. Not only the clusterfuck that is the US presidential election.
