We’re back! World’s largest annual celebration of independent work aimed at empowering self-organizing of the self-employed will return for its third edition in October 12–21, 2018 across Europe. We invite all freelancers, coworking spaces, organizations and companies to host local events or offer special deals for freelancers. Preregister now!

Empowering self-organizing of the self-employed

This years’ theme “Freelancers Assemble! Working Together in the New Economy” aims to drive all local events towards one objective: create an ecosystem of support and collaboration, made by freelancers, for freelancers.

#EFWeek has an inclusive, crowdsourced and decentralized format so anyone can participate. You can organize EVENTS, offer special DEALS and take ACTIONS. We’ll support you by providing a communication toolkit and by promoting your local efforts at European level. It’s crucial we bring key challenges and grassroots solutions to the forefront of the #futureofwork debate.

Past editions

#EFWeek is coordinated by a coalition of national freelancers’ associations in 11 European countries. In 2017, more than 100 events were held in 26 countries. In previous years it was supported by more than 30 organisations including the European Forum of Independent Professionals, European Coworking Assembly, Coworking Europe Conference, European Committee of the Regions, Ouishare, Euro Freelancers, Deskmag, Seats2meet.com, VCO Global, SMartBe, Coconat — a workation retreat, WeWork and the Estonian Government E-Residency Program.
