From the many, many offices across Football Bowl Subdivision leagues and the TV networks they work with, this two-paragraph joint statement was published:

Collectively, the conferences and television networks have agreed to an extension for determining college football’s early season game times beyond the standard June 1 deadline.

These kickoff times and network designations will be announced at a later date as we continue to prepare for the college football season.

The original schedule that social media departments were going to initially play around with reads that we’re currently 100 days away from college football programs beginning their seasons on Thursday, September 3. The MAC’s representing team that day is Ball State to play host to Maine (FCS). Football programs alike would’ve had to finalize their kickoff times for early-season games by June 1, but that deadline has been extended to an unknown date for an unknown period of time.
