Nick Piotrowicz of The Toledo Blade has reported that the Mid-American Conference will no longer have its teams stay in hotels before home games, and teams will also reduce the size of their travel rosters.

The report says that the previous maximum travel roster size for teams is 76 persons, and is now down to 70 for league games. The report does not say whether or not teams will also be held to the same 70-player maximum for non-conference games.
