Freetrade’s European rollout has begun
Our first EU customers have been onboarded
When we launched Freetrade, our goal was to get everyone investing by pioneering commission-free investing in the UK.
That resonated with Brits, and now over 90,000 people in the UK now use Freetrade to invest.
But, even though we love the UK, we never wanted to be confined to its borders. We’ve always wanted to get everyone investing, no matter where they are.
Today we start to realise that goal.
Freetrade is rolling out in Europe, starting with Ireland and the Netherlands.
We’re beginning with 100 beta testers from both countries. They’ll be using our Invest by Freetrade brokerage system to complete their commission-free investments.
In the coming months, we’ll be making improvements to the app and adding more members of the European Freetrade community to the app.
There’s a lot of you that want to join — more than 30,000 Freetraders in the European Economic Area have signed up to our waiting list!
We love your enthusiasm and we’re working flat-out to bring all of you on to the platform. But we also want you to have the Freetrade experience you deserve.
By the time you join us, we plan to have added thousands of more stocks (including local ones), fractional shares and more new features.
So if you didn’t make it on to the Freetrade app just yet then don’t worry. You’ll be on there very soon!
