jEDI — Jointed EDI Transactions for “de facto” Legal Smart Contracts

We are publishing a draft of our new protocol, jEDI or “jointed EDI”. This will enable end-users (i.e. companies) to be able to directly interaction on-chain with our smart contract library for shipping transactions, like bills of lading, warehouse receipts, and more. The reason why this is so important is that our solution is what we call “de facto” legal. De facto legal means that we can now offer additional benefits to direct EDI transactions on-chain, like factoring or financing. EDI Token (the ERC-20) will have a conversion bridge (see “chunnel”) that will enable end-users to directly pay for transactions on our Hyperledger…
