At FRESCO, we abandon the ICO model and introduce the world’s first ICD (Initial Coin Distribution), by distributing 300 million FRESCO tokens to our global community for free.

Q1. Why ICD Test?

Back in 2011, you can get a decent amount of Bitcoin using just a laptop, but now you need a BTC mining farm deep in the mountains. So the earlier one joins FRESCO ICD test, the easier the questions are. Each week we will update the test to stay true to the POW concept.
Moreover, FRESCO ICD test helps us create a global community who truly loves art, who genuinly want to see the expansion of the art market so that one day they may be able to directly promote the artist they care about, to own a part of the museum masterpiece on blockchain at an affordable price.

Q2. How many people can participate in the ICD test?
We are not doing an ICO, so the 300 million initially-planned-for-ICO FRES will all be distributed to our global community. Initially, we thought to cap the passing spot at 150,000 people, however taking into consideration of the initial March Airdrop Campaign of 500 FRES (closed on April 15) and bounty campaign (closed on April 15), we think the number of ICD spot will be around 140,000+.
With the current rate (at 8200 test submissions on April 25th 10PM UTC and 6900 people passed the test), we expect the ICD process to be completed within 1–2 month.
Q3. Where can I learn about these art questions in the ICD test?
Our questions can all be found online with some effort, we treat this as an open-note test, and a lot of artwork prices can be found on Christies or Sotheby’s website, we suggest you search the artwork name and its artist together. For example, for a ceramic work like Yan Visage by Pablo Picasso, we recommend you Google “Yan Visage Pablo Picasso Christies”, and the answer will come right away:

Congrats on passing the test! You are one of the few globally who has done so, and lucky you our test will get even harder as time goes by. We are distributing tokens on a rolling basis, verifying each test passers one by one, checking their twitter, say hi on telegram, making sure they are real human being.
