“I would rather starve, than eat a veg burger” is what every hardcore meat eater would say. But what if, in some magical world, there existed veg burgers that could be enjoyed with much passion as one would enjoy a meat burger?

Here is a small list of veg burgers that are just as satisfying as the meat burgers that you are ‘probably’ trying to cut down on:

Mushroom and Zucchini Burger:

Mashed mushroom and zucchini, dabbled with a tinge of soy sauce and sprinkled with sunflower seeds and oat flour is what sizes up the this earthy flavoured patty. Pair it with some mustard sauce to elevate the flavor of this rich burger along with a few slices of sweet tomato to make this a great veg burger to munch on.

Green Chile Burger:

Make this protein rich burger your weekly staple. Made from a chickpeas base, these spicy green chile burgers are prepared with crushed yellow corn tortilla chips to balance the moisture from the chiles and chickpeas.

Spicy Cauliflower Burger:

The marriage between the pepper jack cheese, cauliflower and cooked quinoa is what makes it to this list of top veg burgers. Fry the patty with breadcrumbs and serve it fresh with cilantro and crunchy cabbage.

Lentil Burger:

Sounds like an odd combination, but do give this one a try. Cook protein rich lentils and blend it with raisins, walnuts and breadcrumbs to form the patty. Present it with tomato and onion slices between the bun of your choice and be a little generous with the mustard sauce. This one will surely keep you wanting for more.
