The world as we know it is divided into two. While one part of it consists of people who eat to live. The other significant part consists of people who live to eat. If your day begins with the image of a chicken and ends with kebab, then you have landed on the right page.

If you are someone who can’t get food off of your mind, here is a list of movies that every foodie must watch.

Soul Kitchen (2009)

Zinos, a Greek restaurateur washes his hands off his beloved diner after the girl he loves moves to China. In his absence, his brother, Ilias tries to manage the restaurant. Soon, the mob takes over the restaurant as Ilias is unable to pay off the debt. Zinos returns to “Soul Kitchen” and re-opens the restaurant with a hotshot chef, but will his loyal clientele return?

The Trip (2010)

LunchBox (2013)

When Ila tries to woo her husband by preparing his favourite meals, a mix up happens when they tiffin carrier service delivers the food to the wrong person. Saajan Fernandez enjoys the tiffin that was not meant for him and an unusual friendship soon develops between the two. A light hearted movie with lot of emotions. A must watch!

Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011)

Jiro Ono, a respected sushi chef, works to attain perfection in his cooking. His eldest son, Yoshikazu, has trouble living up to his father’s legacy. A heart warming story about a father and son working to achieve greatness.

Ratatouille (2007)

A movie for all generations involving a rat, who is addressed as Remy. Remy aspires to become a renowned French chef and use his skill for cooking to plate up his best delicacies for everyone to enjoy. But little does Remy realize that people despise rodents and will never enjoy a meal cooked by him.
