MEAT the Gang!

If you are fond of American cuisine, then you are probably already familiar with Sloppy Joe burger. Originating in the United States during the early 20th century, the Sloppy Joe is a classic example of a cheap eat, that is both filling and flavoursome. Although its origin is debatable, but has pretty interesting stories around it. Some accredit the original Sloppy Joe to a cafe in Sioux City, Iowa, where, many years ago, in1930 a cook named Joe added tomato sauce to his “loose meat” sandwiches and Sloppy Joe was born. Others say that the original sandwich was born in a restaurant in Florida. Which one’s the real story, we don’t know. All we know is that this American favourite has made its way to our menu.

A spicy mince, hand pounded patty cooked to perfection, topped with the goodness of meat chilli (stewed, spiced mince) is layered between fresh soft buns. Added to this is the addition of a slice of cheddar cheese which melts in the bun and adds a yummy and gooey texture!
