Coffee Smoothie!

This is not your plain old coffee blended with milk and ice and served as a “smoothie”. This one is fully loaded. With tons of energy and flavor.

Because this is for people on the go. It is recommended that you make a cup of brewed coffee the night before and pour into a ice trays and freeze them overnight. This way, it is easier to make it in the morning.

Here is what you need to make this

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4th cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds meal
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup soy milk or almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Directions

  1. Pour coffee into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a blender, including the coffee ice cubes and blend until smooth
  3. Taste for sweetness and adjust accordingly
  4. Serve by garnishing it with necessary ingredients
