In the increasingly conscious world that we live in today, food assumes utmost importance-and knowing it well, even more! Superfoods-the lesser known power-house foods are probably the only produce that make you eat without piling on the guilt. These foods are high on antioxidants, polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals and interestingly, we consume these superfoods on a regular basis without knowing like tomatoes, avocado, blueberries, kale, oats and quinoa. They aren’t ‘super’ just because they are low-on-calories but also because these superfoods help us fight various diseases and prevent them too.
