- India: Bhut Jolokia also known as the Ghost Chilli is recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records as one of the spiciest chilli in the world in the year 2007. This is produced in Arunachal Pradesh and till today ranks one of the spiciest to cultivate. Many DNA variations have created other family produces but this is the most unaltered form. One tiny bite and it will destroy your taste buds for few hours.
- America: Carolina Reaper as the name suggests it is from South Carolina. This ranks number one in it’s spice level and 1.57 million on the scoville scale which defines its spiciness. This is generally clubbed with unique challenges around the world that takes every strong contender to their knees.
- United Kingdom: Naga Viper is extremely rare to find and not cultivated on a larger scale. This variant is also a product of cross pollination because of which from time-to-time its spiciness may increase or decrease.
