Advice you give but never take…the faster tortoise

So I drew this cartoon during a time when I was steeped in federal contract work. The company I worked for at the time was pretty conservative and resistant to change. But their biggest client was even more conservative and resistant to change.

I think it’s better business for the most part to just be the faster tortoise. Hares might be faster but they are unpredictable, and unpredictable is scary for all involved. Plus, nobody gets fired for hiring the faster tortoise.
