We started to search for a helpdesk tool for our customer service software and smart automation to get things done faster and the Freshworks flagship product — Freshdesk — was a perfect match.
Solution: Swedbyte Becomes a Freshworks Partner
Swedbyte was an early bird in the Freshworks partner program in 2014. The evolution of various products and the Freshworks Developer platform along with the demand from our growing customers led us to enter the Solutions Provider track of the partner program. Through this, we are able to implement customized projects thereby fulfilling customer requirements. Within a year of our partnership with Freshworks, our revenue grew significantly, making this a profitable venture for us.
This fact, together with the demand from our customers, and the powerful capabilities of the Freshworks platform allowed us to quickly create apps which can trigger custom functionalities as part of regular workflows in Freshdesk. Today, we are able to go deeper into product implementation projects, fulfil very specific customer needs, and deepen our relationships with clients.
Building Apps on the Freshworks Platform
Freshworks strives to enable faster app development during the whole partnership. During the first steps with Swedbyte, Freshworks provided sample code along with documentation which was extremely useful in bringing us up to speed.
The infrastructure provided by the Freshworks platform dramatically speeds up the app development process — it’s not just a space to host apps, but also a whole range of tools, including (but not limited to) data storage, scheduled events, and the ability to catch user and system actions directly from the account. Client-side apps can invoke an alternative interface element, bridging the gap between the product and the custom application, and serverless apps give developers the freedom to use popular open-source libraries within apps that run on Freshworks infrastructure. As a result, Swedbyte was able to focus on the important parts directly affecting business while letting Freshworks lay the foundation for running and scaling these custom solutions.
