Rolling Out Freshchat on Freshworks Marketplace
Today, our developer community has made the Freshworks App Marketplace 725 apps strong and this started a few years ago when we launched our developer platform to support building apps on Freshdesk. Later, we extended platform support for Freshservice and Freshsales.
With our continued efforts to build a strong ecosystem around Freshworks products, we are glad to announce our latest support for Freshchat, one of our fastest growing and popular products amongst Freshdesk Enterprise customers. See more information on Freshchat here.
Currently, we have extended support for front-end apps which will work on the Freshchat’s Inbox page bringing in all the information and tools agents need in the Inbox page. For more information, refer to the developers documentation here.
Going forward, we plan to extend support for Product Events, Server Method Invocation, and our marquee — and much-loved feature by developers — Serverless. These platform capabilities would help developers build modern business workflows and exciting conversational bots on top of Freshchat.
At the end of July, the App Marketplace will be released to Freshchat’s customers. Be one of our launch developer partners and get a chance to be featured on the Marketplace and in the launch press release and be a part of other co-marketing activities.
From its inception, extending customer support via modern messaging demands agents to respond quickly to customers, resolve issues promptly, and convert leads as fast as possible. And, the toughest challenge agents encounter is gathering information to address customer issues from other tools, which is time-consuming. One of our launch developer partners solved this issue by providing contextual information to agents from their CRM right in the Freshchat’s Inbox page as shown in the image.
