As part of the Immersive Technology and eSports/Game Development innovation initiative, Immersive Future (IF) is a new Student Community of Practice in the form of a Fresno State student club for students from different majors to get together to explore new emerging technologies and build cutting-edge applications. This Community of Practice allows for students to work in groups, or individually on different parts of the project.

With the sponsorship of Hub of Digital Transformation, our goal is to develop and/or apply technology to create an immersive experience for students here at Fresno State through the use of virtual and augmented reality. This is where we will need Computer Science majors. To make these products visually appealing and attractive to our consumers, we will need Business majors who are interested in Marketing. We will also need Art majors who are interested in Graphic Design.

This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience, and to be involved in a project that will leave a lasting impact at Fresno State!
