The DfE gravy train for trads

As a point of interest, also announced around the same as I received documents from a whistleblower about the pre-destiny of the TLIF funds, is news of a private university offering a “knowledge-based PGCE”

Promoted in the TES, who also fund a number of the TLIF winners & have a vested interest in private-sector teacher CPD, it’s difficult to understand why it would seek to hobble trainee teachers & NQTs in this way. Nevertheless the parties involved have always been close to the Govian/Lampl/Policy Exchange/Sutton Trust/EEF education transformation programme. This could be a coincidence of course 🤷🏼‍♂️

One must wonder too about the status of Ofsted as a functioning Non-Ministerial Government Department (NMGD) after it awarded the controversial Michaela Community School its highest accolade of Outstanding

Nick Gibb, Minister for School Standards, was clearly delighted when he tweeted

It doesn’t take someone with a sharpie to join these dots & smell the coffee, or the stench of “Governor Gibb” in this orchestration

I would also argue that the Conservative education “Death Star” is harming our children

I don’t want to say I told you so but I did send up a flare back in 2011
