Narrator: Good evening and welcome to season 2, episode 17 of Friday Night Crimes! This week, we’re headed down south to New Orleans, a city of history, spirituality, and debauchery. The story of Zach Bowen and Addie Hall is both fascinating and tragic; especially with its backdrop of Hurricane Katrina, its aftermath, and the infamously spooky French Quarter neighborhood of the city.

Chronological Events of the Case:

October 2006: New Orleans Police received a call from the Omni Hotel regarding a jumper. At first, they were confused; what did a suicide have to do with homicide? The answer came from a suicide note in the deceased’s front pocket, wherein he confessed to killing and dismembering his girlfriend.
