What are your highlights from 2023?

Was there a favorite show, book, album, song, podcast, restaurant, or concert?

Last year’s Top 5 lists were a bundle of fun to read and gave me a lot of suggestions (Thanks Isaiah for the tip about Skateboarding brands — I now look so dope in my new grey Vans socks).

So sit down and take a few minutes and write down your top 5 of anything. It could be one category or many. Try to include a bit of “you” in it — why do you like it, what did it mean to you, how did it affect you?

Please submit it by Sunday December 17th, and I’ll publish them before and during the week of Christmas. Reach out with any questions : )

Instructions:

1. Follow this link and click “Write”. (If you don’t already have a medium account, it will prompt you to create a sign-in).
2. Write! Type out your favorites, and why you like them. The title should include your name, like this: “Cathi’s 2023 Favorite Books”. Here’s an example.
3. Now comes the collaborative part.
   – If you submitted last year, just click the 3 dot menu in upper right of your writing and choose “Add to publication” and choose: FridaySwell.
   – If you’re new to FridaySwell Top 5’s, send me your Medium account name so I can add you as a Writer first. (This guide might help)
4. I’ll receive it, help you edit or add pictures, and then publish it.
