Divorce in Trumpland

Like father, like son

Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa Trump, are struggling through marital problems and close friends say they will soon divorce, and many, including the president, are blaming the Clintons and even former President Obama for the breakup.

One source, who wished not be identified, said, “Oh, sure it’s them,” referring to the Clintons. “Who else would be behind it? Look, struggle may be the wrong word for this, at least financially. Don Jr. is tremendously successful — he has made lots of money — so whatever happens, he’ll treat Vanessa and his kids the right way — unlike a lot of divorced Democrats.”

Vanessa and Don Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, married in November 2005 and have five children, proving the younger Trump is a spectacular and “virile” lover, this source said — “just like his father” — so, clearly, Vanessa “will miss that.”

While divorce proceedings have not yet been initiated, the couple is expected to file soon, even though Vanessa, reportedly, has openly wept that her life as a Trump will soon be over and, as a spokesman who wished not be identified told Page 6 of the The New York Post, “she is like totally — totally — sad about that. I think she wants back in.”

A prepared release from the Trump Organization, which both Don Jr. and his brother, Eric, run, squarely put the end of the marriage on Bill and Hillary Clinton and former President Obama. “Clearly the toll of the fake media’s relentless attacks on these two,” the release read, “have been enormous. The Fredo jokes, the idiot son references were terrible, not true, and our people can prove it was released by them [The Clintons.] Ever since the Hillary machine realized it was not going to run and ruin the lives of American families, it set its targets on these two beautiful lives. I think Obama is responsible, too, in some of his statements. It’s very sad the Clintons, with their spotty marriage record, have succeeded in their plot to break up such a wonderful family.”

The president weighed in on the Clinton connection by tweeting yesterday, “I wouldn’t put it past Crooked HILLARY, who mocked those who made cookies AND tea. Remember? I do. I think a lot of people think they’re involved. A LOT.”

One source said of the marriage, “The problems have been there for a long time, but the couple had hoped to stay together during the president’s time in office, but it is getting harder to resolve their issues. He’s never there,” the source said. “He’s always out and about trying to make this country great again and she’s, you know, shopping or whatever.”

President Trump has been married 3 times, and when asked during a recent hunting trip whether he was under any pressure, being the first born, to emulate his father, the younger Trump said, “Do I think I have to be married that many times? No, not really. Look, my father’s a great man who attracts great and powerful people, so it’s not really a numbers thing with him. It’s a quality thing. You can look at my dad’s marriages — and I love my mom — but you can see how in each relationship, there was improvement.”

He then winked and gave the reporter the Thumbs Up sign.

There are reports that Vanessa had difficulty with the exploits of her husband, who is a hunter of wild animals in “the Teddy Roosevelt mode,” a source said, and there are many pictures of him online posing with the carcasses of elephants, leopards, and other animals.

“Vanessa hates carcasses,” the source also said.
