The war against Ukraine, which began in February 2022, continues to unfold. As of today, the country has been defending its sovereignty for 768 days… Ukraine stands resilient… It’s fighting to maintain its independence and the integrity of its 1991 borders…

Earlier, I posted some thoughts on Ukraine’s sovereignty and its 1991 borders on other social media platform. Now I have decided to develop the view on this issue and make it somewhat easier to understand the legal grounds of Ukraine as an independent state.
