Our Brand Campaigns: Siemens by the side of tomorrow’s engineers with Friendz

Siemens, leading multinational company in the fields of energy, automation and digitalization has collaborated with Friendz with the aim to develop a pretty ambitious project: get in contact with engineering students and recently graduated engineers to reinforce the brand image and awareness of its digital positioning within this specific target.

In the first instance, Friendz has involved Friendz Market Research, brand new business unit of the R&D department which offers the companies market insights through our online community’s activation. The width and the even distribution of the community throughout Italy makes it a representative sample of the Italian digital population. What’s more, the high engagement and reactivity rate of the users allow Friendz to receive detailed insights in no time, even when we involve more “difficult” targets. These features make Friendz Market Research a unique player on the market. Friendz has structured a qualitative and quantitative research for Siemens, “Siemens Among Italian Students”, which has involved 2.300 students and recent graduate in surveys and video interviews, with the aim to analyse the current perception of the company and determine which elements are crucial when choosing the ideal company to work in.

In addition to the research, Friendz has studied the community’s insights to conceive and develop the concept of a suggestive video hub published on Siemens Facebook Page.

The video tells the story of a girl who dreams of flying to space. She is accompanied by two Siemens Men in Black into the company’s headquarter where she finds other children who work with a team of engineers to create innovative projects.

Finally, thanks to Siemens, the girl’s dreams have come true!

This story wants to be the manifesto of Siemens distinctive positioning, which is able to combine the digital and real world and generate value for its customers, employees and society at large.

Friendz community users will have the chance to amplify this message by sharing the video with their friends on their social profiles and, in addition to this, by taking part in a photo campaign which further endorses the entire project. As usual, users will add a comment and the campaign’s official hashtags to make every content unique and personal.
