The Friendz Games: when users become friends in real life
Friendz has recently concluded the Italian tour of the Friendz Games, a unique occasion for us to meet the app community users and spend the afternoon together.
Milan was the last stop of a 1-month-tour made up of 5 stops throughout Italy: Rome, Bari, Naples, Palermo and Milan.
The community has been involved since the very beginning of the tour: these locations have been chosen, in fact, by the users themselves through polls on Friendz Facebook Group and gathered the most populated Friendz communities throughout Italy.
For a whole month, Friendz community team has picked up their backpack, flown to different cities and organized games in which the Friendz world — made of fun and photography — was the real protagonist. Every match was launched and rewarded through an app campaign, but the participants had to achieve the scores IRL (In Real Life): there was no need for particular strength or any athletic abilities to participate, just the will to play in team and reach the goals together, which is also our Friendz motto.
At the origin of the Friendz Games
Last year, we met the community for the first time in Milan, Rome, Salerno, Catania and Palermo. We had huge picnics together and during the day we launched special app campaigns for the participants. These “meetups” gathered more than 100 people: we were pleasantly surprised by this commitment, so we decided to keep up the tradition and bring them to a new level.
We have spent unforgettable moments with our friendz, sharing our gadgets, sharing opinions and sharing a lot of fun: Friendz aim is to create a sense of belonging which is unique among users of an app.
