There are three different types of Vinyl: Sheet Vinyl, which is cut from a roll and glued over the flooring surface; Luxury Vinyl Tile, this is a grouted product that replicates the look of ceramic tile, but is a much warmer product that does not require floor heat; and Luxury Vinyl Plank, which can resemble a hardwood or slate ceramic look. Vinyl Plank can be glued down or installed as a floating floor. Floating floors are simple to install and can cover up minor imperfections in existing floor surface.
