This is it

So, as this is our last post to write it seems like another semester has already passed. For me these weeks have gone by so fast. When I noticed that we had to create an account on a website to publish posts and comments, I found myself in slight annoyance as I do not like to sign in on several websites I probably won’t use in my future. But as the first posts were published, and authentic and lively discussions emerged, I began to enjoy doing this task! I advanced in doing research, I expanded my English vocab getting to know new words (which I didn’t in a long time) and I could exchange knowledge about the British Empire or our recent history, Yes, I mean Brexit!!! ;), with my fellow classmates and broadened my horizon in comparing views and opinions about different topics! Furthermore, I think the freedom to choose our own ideas and topics we want to write about which are connected with the British Empire, made it a whole lot easier and much more fun to do this task.

I am happy that I gained knowledge by seeing things differently through others people’s eyes and therefore changing my perspective. Thank you for this cool task and an interesting Wednesday morning class!
