There has been alot of talk what might happen in case of a Brexit. And lets face it there is a good chance it might happen. And while there was alot of talk in the media and in our class about what would happen finacially and politically to Britain and the EU I recently had to consider a different perspective. After watching British expatriat, comedian and Brexit opponenet John Oliver ah thought accuret to me: what about us? What about the people who are not small buisness owners or banks but Erasmus Students or volunteers? Things that no one mentioned in TV debates like Student exchange, patent rights or even more simply a summer holiday in South England? What about that? Brexit supporters argue that they will have about two years time before the separation acctually takes place. As we saw with other countries these negotiations will take decades not years. Will we need a Visum to get into Britain? Will we be able to purchase British goods and what price? All these questions are unanswered but the problem is further that they will remain unanswered till long after the referendum has passt. Because while the Reamin campain might have little catchy arguments and phrases they at least have certainty something that the Leave campain has been notoriously lacking. I recommend to everyone to wach the video its quit funny aswell ;)
