Rahat Khan, the chief perfumer and founder of an ittar brand that’s mixing things up, talks to us about her journey and experience with LBB.

Rahat’s the mystery woman behind Fragrances By Ambrin, an ittar brand that’s mixing things up. And while she likes to remain elusive, we drove straight to her house to see what she was mixing up, to feature her story and onboard her as a maker on LBB.IN/SHOP.

Rahat creates novel fragrances that go beyond the usual rose and mogra by doing a bit of procuring and a bit of blending. She stocks about 60 odd hand-crafted fragrances that are all alcohol-free, long-lasting and make a great substitute for perfumes. “My forte is unusual fragrances… I have one that resembles the bark of a tree and another one that’ll instantly remind you of a dargah,” she says.
